  • The main difference between infrared saunas and traditional saunas is how they use heat.

Traditional saunas use a single heater that heats the air and that hot air heats the user.

With this type of sauna, you are seated in a wood-lined room that is heated by an electric sauna heater filled with rocks. When the rocks are heated you pour water over them to create steam.

In contrast, in an infrared sauna, the air temperature is less important than the quality of the infrared heat. Once your infrared sauna has been heating for about 15 minutes then you’re ready to get in. You will warm up with the sauna.

As your body absorbs the infrared heat, this will increase thermal energy, inducing a deep and relaxing sweat

  • Infrared saunas offer a number of benefits. Like traditional saunas, exposure to the heat that they generate can help to alleviate temporary, acute pain, and chronic pain. They can also help to improve skin health, they can help to flush toxins out of the body, and they may even help to strengthen your immune system and lengthen your life expectancy! Of course, heat therapy also promotes relaxation, and many report that they experience a marked improvement in their sleep after sauna sessions. 30 mins minimum for optimal results, you can use an infrared sauna as often as you’d like to.

  • For best results, we recommend using the Infrared Sauna Pod at least 2-3 times a week. If not, schedule when you can and you will still get great results and still see many benefits with weight loss, sculpting, and pain relief.

  • For women, bikinis are recommended or undergarments, for men boxers or briefs, removing all jewelry is highly recommended.

  • We ask that you hydrate before and after your sessions to help flush out toxins and insure against dehydration. Also, try not to eat at least 1 hour before or after your sessions. If you can not do this, do not worry. You will still see great results but this helps to maximize your sculpting, weight loss, and pain relief benefits.

  • In addition to the benefits of the infrared sauna, adding Himalayan Salt releases negatively charged ions which serve to purify the circulating air as well as allow our bodies to reap health benefits including stress reduction, energy increases, and mood boosts at a biochemical level. Containing at least 84 naturally occurring trace elements in their natural mineral form, the benefits of Halotherapy (the inhalation of micronized dry salt within a chamber) are abundant.

By gently heating the Himalayan salt, the moisture attracting properties of the salt is activated, allowing the natural humidity in the air to condense on the surface of the salt blocks, triggering the natural ionization process. During this process, the salt releases negative ions that in turn attach themselves to dust, bacteria, and other pollutants, effectively purifying the circulating air.

  • The chilled water instantly numbs the nerves that surround your joints and muscles, causing the release of hormones and endorphins. The release of hormones and endorphins relieves inflammation and alleviates muscle strain and joint pain.

  • Helps with Immune system support, Reduces chronic pain, and boosts your metabolism all while lowering any type of inflammation and reducing muscle soreness to promote better performance.

We recommend a minimum of 3-7 mins but 10 mins max for all clients in order to gain the full benefit.

  • Compression is an effective method by which controlled pressure is applied to the extremities in order to increase blood flow and the efficiency of the lymphatic and venous systems. Traditionally, compression uses socks or stockings, but Holt Fit uses newer technology like REGEN™ from Rapid Reboot to offer dynamic compression that utilizes compressed air to mobilize fluid and improve circulation.

  • Poor circulation occurs when blood vessels and arteries narrow, making it hard for blood to pass through. Compression therapy works by adding pressure to contracting areas of restricted flow, allowing the veins in the limbs to loosen. This loosening decreases venous pressure, reduces edema, and aids the body in moving blood towards the heart. It also engages “lymphatic flush”, which facilitates the removal of waste and swelling, from the body.

  • A type of movement therapy and performance enhancement used with Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue (stainless steel) Manipulation techniques/ tissue traction and deep tissue work that can cause redness and bruising on the skin by mechanical gliding dysfunctions of the skin, fascia/ connective tissue, and nerve.  It also presents concepts of neuro-sensory pain modulation via IASTM, also introduces pain modulation techniques via the neurosensory comb along with demonstrating the ability to provide dry fascial gliding to promote improved ROM. Soft tissue injuries can be debilitating and frustrating, IASTM treats all soft tissue conditions, whether they are chronic, acute, or post-op. IASM helps to enable the treatment of scar tissue and fascial restrictions which allows for faster recovery to restore range of motion, eliminating pain, and restoring normal function.

  • We highly recommend treatments every month (3-5 weeks) between each session unless you are an athlete we would suggest coming in bi-weekly depending on your camps or competitions. By incorporating a regiment in your daily/ active lifestyle you will feel and notice a significant difference in both your mobility and range of motion, your overall performance in and out of the gym or at work, you’ll have more energy and feel less fatigue, help decrease adhesion build-up along with any fascia restrictions and last but not least help manage and alleviate aches/ pain.
